Terms of Service

By accessing or using LubeRegistry.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, buyers submitting stock check requests, and suppliers maintaining listings on the Platform.

LubeRegistry is an industrial lubricant directory and cross-reference platform. We connect buyers (machine shops, maintenance teams, procurement officers) with regional lubricant suppliers. We are not a retailer, distributor, or manufacturer. We do not sell, ship, or handle lubricant products. We do not guarantee product availability, pricing, or supplier performance.

Buyers may search the directory, view product cross-references, browse supplier listings, and submit stock check requests at no charge. When you submit a stock check request, your contact information (name, email, phone) is shared with the supplier you selected. LubeRegistry is not a party to any transaction between you and a supplier. We do not mediate disputes, process payments for product purchases, or guarantee that a supplier will respond to your inquiry.

Suppliers may register for a listing on LubeRegistry. All new listings are reviewed and approved by LubeRegistry before going live. By submitting a listing, you represent that all information provided — including company name, address, brands stocked, delivery radius, and contact details — is accurate and current. You are responsible for keeping your listing information up to date through the supplier dashboard.

LubeRegistry reserves the right to reject, deactivate, or remove any supplier listing at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: inaccurate information, failure to respond to buyer inquiries, complaints from buyers, or violation of these terms.

Suppliers may pay a fee to unlock buyer contact information for stock check requests submitted through the Platform. Lead fees are processed through Stripe. All lead fee payments are final and non-refundable. A lead fee entitles the supplier to view the buyer's contact details for that specific inquiry — it does not guarantee a sale, response, or any particular outcome.

Future paid features, including promoted listings and spec sheet sponsorships, will be governed by these terms and any additional terms presented at the time of purchase.

LubeRegistry provides product cross-reference data and machine compatibility information for informational purposes only. This data is compiled from publicly available manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and supplier-reported information. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that any cross-reference, equivalency, or compatibility recommendation is complete, current, or suitable for your specific application.

You are solely responsible for verifying product specifications, OEM requirements, and application suitability before making any purchasing or usage decision. Always consult the relevant manufacturer's technical data sheet (TDS) and safety data sheet (SDS) before using any industrial lubricant.

All content on LubeRegistry.com — including the database structure, cross-reference data, page layouts, text, graphics, and logos — is the property of LubeRegistry or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not scrape, copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content from this Platform without prior written permission. Product names, brand names, and trademarks referenced on this Platform belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification purposes only.

LubeRegistry is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LubeRegistry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to: reliance on cross-reference data, product compatibility information, or supplier listings; inability to access the Platform; any transaction or interaction between a buyer and a supplier; or loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to LubeRegistry in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform; interfere with the operation of the Platform or its infrastructure; impersonate another person or entity; or use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages to suppliers or buyers.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Suppliers who violate these terms may have their listings deactivated or permanently removed. Upon termination, any rights granted to you under these terms will immediately cease.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
